At Northwest Church of God we understand the need for parents to be engaged in the Worship Service without worrying about their little ones or the disruptions that come with babies. We have a nursery available for ages 0-2 where our volunteers will love on, sing and play with, and pray over your little ones. Our main goal is to teach the Word of God in a fun and memorable way.

The theme for January 2025 is The Creation Story.  We will be looking at stories in the Bible about the creation. The four lessons are as follows:

  • God Created the Earth
    • Creation Days 1, 2, & 3
  • God Created the Sun, Moon, & Stars
    • Creation Day 4
  • God Created the Birds & Fish
    • Creation Day 5
  • God Created Animals, Man & Woman, & rested
    • Creation Days 6 & 7

Our song for the month of January is: “God Made the Sun” (to the tune of “The Farmer In the Dell”

God made the sun (put arms over head in circle)
God made the trees (hold arms up at shoulders with fingers spread like trees)
God made the mountains (hands at chest making a triangle like a mountain)
And God made me! (gives self a hug)
